Can the
STageRStageR Plugin ingest documents without security information?
such as ACLS
Yes, just set the claimsIssuer field in the configuration to 'public'. Otherwise, you'll need the Security Pre-trimmer in order to view any non-public documents in the search results.
What kind of certificate files does the plugin support?
The plugin needs .p12 files to work. Nothing else is supported at this moment.

Why is the plugin unable to access the secured
STageRStageR?

Make sure the certificate user is registered in the STageRStageR. For more information, go here.
Can the
STageRStageR Plugin run against a load balanced
STageRStageR?
Yes, but make sure all of the instances of the STageR StageR have the plugin's Content Processing module file (SharePointBCSMapping.js) in their processing_modules directory. The file can be located in the \deploy\resources directory.
