Before

Prior to Using the

GCS

Google Cloud Search Publisher

Complete the following steps in order to be able to publish to GCSGoogle Cloud Search:

  1. Set up a subscription with Google for GCSGoogle Cloud Search : either the GCS Standalone Google Cloud Search  Standalone or G-Suite Enterprise edition.
  2. Enable access to the GCS APIGoogle Cloud Search API.
  3. Generate a credentials file https://developers.google.com/cloud-search/docs/guides/project-setup?authuser=1
  4. Establish a mechanism to sync the ingested content repositories, user, ' users and groups to Google Cloud Identity – e.g. Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS)
