Before

Prior to Using the

Google Cloud Search Publisher

Complete the following steps in order to be able to publish to Google Cloud Search Search:

  1. Set up a subscription with Google for Google Cloud Search : either the Google Cloud Search  Standalone or G-Suite Enterprise edition.
  2. Enable access to the Google Cloud Search API.
  3. Generate a credentials file https://developers.google.com/cloud-search/docs/guides/project-setup?authuser=1
  4. Establish a mechanism to sync the ingested content repositories' users and groups to Google Cloud Identity – e.g. Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS)
