Version of SharePoint required
The connector works on SharePoint Online.
Windows or Linux
The Aspire SharePoint Online connector can run on either Windows or Linux. It uses the Rest API to communicate with SharePoint.
User Account Requirements
In order to access SharePoint Rest API, a user account with sufficient privileges must be supplied. You may have a different account per URL if required.
To crawl SharePoint you'll need the following permissions:
- The account most be a site collection administrator. See Step 1: Set SharePoint Access Rights for more info on how to set this permission.
