The Azure Search Service has a similar REST API interface using JSON to Elasticsearch, however it is not as complete: I don’t see the bulk indexing feature that Elasticsearch has, and our Elasticsearch publisher is using it like this:
In the app-publish-to-elasticsearch application.xml:
<component name="PostHTTP" subType="default" factoryName="aspire-post-http" enable="${ElasticNoUrl}">
...
<postUrl>http://${ElasticHost}:${ElasticPort}/_bulk</postUrl>
...
</component>
Still, we should be able to publish to Azure Search Service by using the {{Aspire_2.0_Post_HTTP]], with the required configuration changes and groovy builders to transform to the correct JSON syntax.
