The Aspire Ambari Service is a Ambari package that allows you to distribute, install, configure and manage Aspire as a service inside Ambari. 


Features

Some of the features of the Aspire AmbariService include:

  • Aspire full functionality inside Ambari
  • Configure Aspire from the Ambari UI
  • Simultaneously configure multiple instances of Aspire
  • Use Zookeeper to synchronize multiple Aspire instances
  • (Optional) Use Mongo or HBase as NoSQL DB

Limitations

Aspire Ambari Service has the following limitations:

  • Only the properties supported by the service can be configured from the Ambari UI.
  • Any other settings must be configured from the templates of the settings files.

Supported Ambari and Hortonworks Versions

The service should work for all 2.6.*.* versions of Ambari, and 2.6.* versions of HDP and HDF
