Version of Tesseract Required

The Aspire Tesseract OCR application was created and tested using version 3.02.

The Tesseract version is not relevant to the application as long as the command line usage is the same as the other versions. See link for more info.

Before using the Tesseract OCR application, make sure that:

• Tesseract and all its dependencies such as language data and libraries are properly installed, otherwise the application might have odd behavior due to Tesseract failures.
