Version of Yammer API required

The Aspire Yammer connector was created and tested using the Yammer REST API V1. See Rest API and Rate Limits from the Yammer documentation.

User Account Requirements 

In order to access Yammer, a user account with sufficient privileges must be supplied. It is recommended the account belong to a Yammer administrator. A Bearer Token corresponding to this user is required by the connector.

Get A Bearer Token

There are several ways to obtain a Bearer token for Yammer. Options include:

• Register an app in Yammer and obtain token via OAuth .
• Request a token from your Yammer administrator.

Windows or Linux

The Yammer connector runs on either Windows or Linux.
