The connector works on O365 SharePoint Online.

Access Requirements 

Using a User Account

In order to access SharePoint Rest API with a user account, sufficient privileges must be supplied. You may have a different account per URL if required.

To crawl SharePoint you'll need the following permissions:

• The account most be a site collection administrator. See Step 1: Set SharePoint Access Rights for more info on how to set this permission.

Using an Azure AD with a Certificate

In order to access the SharePoint Rest API through Azure AD, you'll need to register the app and setup a valid certificate. Follow the How to setup Azure AD Application for SharePoint Online tutorial to configure the required permissions.

Windows or Linux

The Aspire SharePoint Online connector can run on either Windows or Linux. It uses the Rest API to communicate with SharePoint.
