Can the STageR Plug-In ingest documents without security information (i.e. ACLs)?
Yes, just set the claimsIssuer field in the configuration to 'public', otherwise you'll need the security pre-trimmer in order to view any non public documents in the search results.
What kind of certificate files does the plug-in support?
The plug-in needs .p12 files to work. Nothing else is supported at this moment.
Important!
Make sure the certificate files were created by a machine admin user.
My certificate is OK but the plug-in is not able to access the secured STageR...
Make sure the certificate user is registered in the STageR. For more information, go here.
Can the STageR Plug-In run against a load balanced STageR?
Yes. But make sure all the instances of the STageR have the plug-in's content processing module file (SharePointBCSMapping.js) in their processing_modules directory. The file can be located in the \deploy\resources directory.
