In this scenario, even if a full crawl was initiated in Aspire, the Publish to SharePoint publisher will not trigger a full crawl in SharePoint. In the Publish to SharePoint window, select the follow options:
- Enable CleanUp: Clear the check box to disable the background thread that removes old batches from the intermediate repository.
- Debug: Select the check box to run the publisher in debug mode.
The SharePoint Publisher is designed to write files to a shared folder and then instruct SharePoint to crawl those files. A full crawl is not triggered since the remaining files are not removed. Therefore, this behavior is as expected.
