The Admin UI features a Login page that will appear after you have configured the administrator security access for Aspire. Aspire does not require administrator security access; it can run in Anonymous mode.

Enable the Login page

The login page will appear once you have configured a security type option (ConfigFile or Ldap), the configuration for these types of security can be found in the Admin UI Authentication.

Security configuration is set in None by defualt

Username and Session

Once the user has signed in into Aspire, the username will appear on the top right corner, next to the Sign Out option. This session will last as long as the webpage is active, if for some reason the webpage is inactive for more than thirty minutes (30 min), the session will expire, and the user will need to log on again.

  1. Username: Shows the name of the current user log in Aspire for this browser
  2. Sign out: Will end the current session and return to the login page

No Security

If you wish to use Aspire without security as it is by default, an Anonymous user will appear in the top right corner, without a Sign Out option next to it. This will indicate that Aspire is not using any security to validate the user who accesses Aspire. And the session will never expire.

  1. Anonymous: Indicates there's no security verification for the user active
